Please don’t do what I did today.
Thinking it was time to take a break from writing, producing videos, and teaching courses, I reached for the dog leash to take my dog Beau for a walk and get a “brain sweep” from the day’s anxiety.
I always enjoy the natural “oxygen bath” of the forest trails 50 steps away from my home.
I had been writing all day about how to overcome election anxiety. Once I got on the trail, I remembered I hadn’t checked the news today, so I looked up a podcast on POLITICS to listen to while I walked. Don’t do that! I know better. And yet…
Limiting beliefs are powerful until you understand they are only beliefs, not facts!
They are your beliefs so have the power to change them.

Only You Can Make This Choice!
We must give our bodies the peace to find the calm, insight, wisdom, and courage to make good decisions in challenging times. It makes a big difference if we let it. (Note to Harmony: read your posts!)
1. Recognize the Need for True Breaks: Even when we intellectually know better, the compulsion to stay “plugged in” can be strong, especially during high-stress periods. Unplugging and engaging with the natural world without ANY political distractions is essential.
2. Listen to Your Wisdom—Silence gives you time and space to hear your inner voice without the loud noise of dissonance around you.
3. Recenter on What Matters: Time when you let go helps you remember what matters to you! What matters to the country is important, but the country comprises individual people. For our nation to be healthy and think straight, we need to be mentally healthy and thinking straight.
The limitations we believe become the reality we experience. We can change that!
