Reviews for Harmony
The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, Commercial Division, recently hosted the Fraser Valley Commercial Building Awards in May 2011. The event, held at the Coast Hotel Convention Centre in Langley, BC, was well attended as developers, engineers, architects, city officials, commercial Realtors and industry leaders gathered to see which buildings were the best of the best in 2009 and 2010 in the Fraser Valley. The audience and nominees had a special treat as Harmony Thiessen , our guest speaker, spoke on how buildings tell their own story to the people who work in them, reside in them, view them and build them. Harmony spoke on how new building development is a part of change in our communities and that a special care in the design, functionality and location is needed in order to make the change positive and lasting. Harmony moved our audience with her soft and impactful presentation, some of our nominees to tears, as her story told their story.
We are delighted to have had her speak at our awards ceremony and have been lauded with praise for her presentation and the relevance to what a building award is truly about.

Harmony spoke at the launch of the Enterprising Moms Network Chapter in Langley about Living With Your Arms Wide Open. Her engaging and inspiring style kept the audience entertained and engrossed in her stories and in the message and moral of her talk. We laughed and we had tears in our eyes as Harmony took us on a journey and brought us safely to a new perspective and a more empowered way of thinking. I highly recommend Harmony as a speaker and would love to have her speak again anytime.
