Harmonized Sales Tax for Business in BC
I posted an article today on at Examiner.com in an effort to show small business owners a variety of perspectives and expectations surrounding the proposed HST tax in BC. The proposed tax easily passed the House of Commons yesterday and appears to be unstoppable despite public distrust and outcry.
Small business will be effected. The BC government insists this is required for the profitability of big business and citizens alike, and that they have mitigated the serious side effects predicted in other sectors such as health care and tourism.
I am providing this aggregate of resources in an effort to allow the reader to surmise the actual outcomes as you will.
