Is your business in the top 10 listed on Google Maps when people are looking for your services in their area?

You can invest 15 minutes and give your business a boost in the arm - for FREE! You don't need to be a web guru, or a marketing genius. You simply fill in the form and presto, you are listed on Google and found with Google maps.

Look at the image above. Do you see the red dot in the middle of the map? That would be HG Consulting!

Here are easy steps for you to do the same:

1. Type a good search term for your business in google search and include your geographic identity. For instance, for my business I typed in:

business consulting white rock bc

I am sure you have seen something similar many times in your searches. Although it's not so clear in the photo, Google lists 10 businesses that suit that description (if there is 10). Resembling the old phone book listings that used to charge us an arm and a leg, they list my website link, phone number etc. Imagine that, Google links to my website without charging me a penny.

Why don't you try it with key words on your business and location, and see who is listed? It's a great way to check out the competition. Would you want to be left out of that prestigious group? I thought not.
